*Lost Photos Found*

In that old family photographs have often been lost or destroyed, those still existing, located perhaps in attics and relative's collections, need to find their way home...to a place where they can again be treasured and preserved for future generations. This section is offered to aid in that purpose. The photographs posted are known to be of members in KEITH families, but specific family connections are not known. Please compare the faces and places you see here, and if you have any idea of the family connections likely, let me know. I strive to place originals in the hands of KEITHs who care. The photos are too precious to lose.

The following photographs were part of a collection purchased in 1980 by Cyndie Harrison, at a shop in Friar's Point, Mississippi. Six were labeled in handwriting.

"George W. Keith" and wife were apparently photographed at the same time, same studio as shown, and mounted on cards having the same decorative border. Handwriting on back of the woman's picture reads: "Della Keith wife of G.W. Keith".

Appearing to be the same individual in both photos, some years apart, "Bob Keith", on the left is a postcard mount, right a studion mount, from Montgomery photographic studio, Yoakum, Texas.

Collection contained two prints of these girls. On the back of one is inscription "Mrs. W. J. Keith, Kelly, N.C.". On the other, an inscription in the same hand says: "Ida May King".

Can you help identify these Keiths and relatives?

Found in the family photographs of James B. Keith, son of Leonard and
Elizabeth (Sutphin) Keith of Floyd Co., VA, the above photo shows what
are probably close relatives, not identified. These may be KEITHs or
SUTPHINS, pictured in the late 1800's. Note that the apparent father's
left leg is absent, and may indicate he is a Civil War veteran.
